PCA staff are skilled in carrying out roof surveys. The design of the survey of the roofing system can involve a series of challenges for surveyors, for the following reasons:

Years of experience in the field have shown us at PCA that two different roof surveys rarely require the same specification.
In order to get the survey data required in the most efficient manner we can choose from a combination of techniques including:
- Acquisition of laser scanner data, with supporting topographic grid
- Acquisition of photographic data and computational analysis
- Acquisition of control measurements from topographic survey and direct survey
Safety
PCA staff have the appropriate safety equipment and training for carrying out roof surveys in a wide variety of conditions.
